Step up to the plate for “There’s No Crying in Drag Brunch” a Pride month drag brunch extravaganza at 261 at Para Maria, inspired by the restaurant's dedication to celebrating women's sports. Inspired by the beloved baseball film A League of Their Own and a shared love of women's athletics, this one-of-a-kind afternoon of dining and drag features high-energy entertainment, music, and plenty of team spirit.
Hosted by Boston favorite Abby Cummings, the brunch will feature an all-star lineup of five legendary queens performing an entertaining mix of group and solo numbers inspired by the film. Guests can enjoy a buffet-style brunch from Executive Chef Tatiana Rosana, while taking in a grand slam of a show.
Brunch service begins at 11:00 a.m., with the performance running from 12:00–1:15 p.m., followed by photo opportunities and opportunities to interact with the performers.
Tickets are $50 per person and include access to the full brunch buffet. A limited number of bar seats are available for $25 per person and do not include the brunch buffet. Guests wishing to sit together as a group should call the restaurant directly after purchasing tickets to coordinate seating arrangements.
