The Beaver is a queer bar located in the west end of Toronto on Queen Street, close to the Gladstone Hotel and the Drake Hotel. Thirsty? We can whip you up a cocktail, pour you a beer or glass of wine, make you a delicious mocktail, or warm you up with a coffee or tea. Hungry? We have chips and dips if you’re looking for a snack, or feel free to bring in your own food. Bored? We host a variety of nightly events from drag shows, trivia nights, burlesque, dance parties with local DJs, queer meet-ups, comedy shows, and drag competitions. Lonely? We are proud to be an opening and accepting establishment with only two rules: You have be 19+ to drink and just in general be a lovely respectful human. Folks from across all spectrums visit us, so there are always opportunities to meet cool new friends!
